Who is an Auditor?
An auditor is a finance professional responsible for examining financial records, systems, and operations of an organisation. Their main job is to ensure that everything is accurate, legal, and follows the proper rules whether it's financial reporting, taxation, or compliance.
Unlike accountants who prepare financial statements, auditors review and verify those statements to check for errors, fraud, and accuracy. They act as watchdogs and advisors, making sure businesses don't end up in legal or financial trouble.
