Requirements
Eligibility criteria for CMA USA coaching in Bangalore
Educational qualification
A bachelor's degree in any discipline is enough to qualify, though Commerce or Finance backgrounds tend to be preferred. CA, CPA or ACCA are accepted too. You can sit for the exam while your degree is still in progress, and submit final proof within 7 years of clearing Part 2.
IMA membership
Sitting the exam means becoming an IMA member first, which involves paying the CMA entrance fee along with annual membership dues.
Experience requirement
You'll need two years of relevant work experience in management accounting or financial management — before the exam, or within 7 years after clearing Part 2. Internships and project work count toward it.
Exam timeline
